Therapeutic Recreation Program

Our therapeutic recreation program offers ongoing recreation opportunities built upon each resident’s preferences and abilities. Past leisure interests are explored and new experiences are introduced. We address the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each individual.

Therapeutic activities are offered in a manner that provides our residents with a sense of belonging and accomplishment.

Separate secured dementia wing with 20 semi-private rooms, courtyard, and gazebo
Two dining rooms
Additional smaller dining room and lounge area for quieter, more private accommodations
Cable television in the lounge area
Color-coded rooms to enhance “home” recognition
Personal “Treasure of Memories” display box at each resident room entrance
Restroom areas equipped with showers/whirlpool facilities and pull stations for enhanced safety
Video security systems throughout the dementia wing and courtyard for added supervision by staff
