The weather was so perfect on Tuesday, July 8th, that we proposed an "outdoor water games" idea to our residents.

May was filled with many great events. Our Volunteers held their purse auction fundraiser at the very beginning of the month; quickly followed by the bi-annual Resident Remembrance Memorial Service. Our Resident Council held their own "Town Hall" during which the presidential candidates presented their platform. We had musicians perform, the Tree Family Party Piggies returned, and we went on multiple outings.
Last week, we hosted a town hall meeting with the two candidates running for Resident Council President. The event was well attended, and each candidate presented compelling arguments in support of their candidacy. The residents vote Tuesday, May 13th during the Resident Council Meeting.
We've been celebrating our Nurses all week, but today was a very special treat for all of them. We appreciate the hard work and compassion our nurses show our residents and patients.
This afternoon, we were so pleased to have with us the Lake Erie Womenfolk. These lovely ladies brought their instruments, including a harp, to play and to teach our residents how to play a few notes. What an absolutely beautiful event. Thank you ladies!
