The May/June 2025 edition of the Pennsylvania Magazine has a wonderful article called, "Reverent Remembrance" written by Michael E. DeSanctis who also provided the photos. It describes a short history of the grounds on which the cemetery exists and the reason for the creation of the cemetery. He then goes on to describe the actual ceremonies that take place there every 2nd year; this year being one of them.
