Transportation Driver- Part-time
Driver needed to safely transport residents to & from our facility to appointments & activities when our full time drivers are scheduled off. Secures residents in wheelchairs in the transport vans. Responsibilities include pre-trip check, fueling, cleaning the van and reporting any mechanical issues. Must be able to work flexible but consistent hours. We require: high school grad/equiv; valid & unencumbered PA driver's license; good driving record; ability to work & communicate effectively in English with the elderly & disabled. One year experience of public or private transorting preferred. Must successfully pass a criminal background check, tuberculosis & drug screen & physical. Must be able to lift, push, pull wheelchairs of all sizes & be able to bend, stoop, and twist comfortably to secure each chair.
