We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Educator to oversee and direct the timely delivery of education to PRM Nursing Deparment, including needs assessments, development and delivery of educational interventions. Ensures education programs and opportunities are in place and they comply with PRM's policies & procedures as well as applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Monitors and evaluates the skill demonstration and training needs of nursing employees including new hires in orientation. Observes staff for proper technique, deficient practices and identifies appropriate intervention or improvement. Must have a current, unencumbered RN license. Preferred 3 years experience in long term care/nursing facility and 2 years experience as a supervisor; 1 year experience as an educatior/trainer in medical setting or facility.
