Annual Pancake Races
Today, we held our Annual Pancake Races featuring teams from Maintenance, Finance, Nursing (Unit K), Dietary (including team Happy Hot Cakes), Southern Care Hospice and the Activities & Residents team. Members of each team carried a stack of 12-15 pancakes through an obstacle course to their team mates at the finish line. Residents had noisemakers and the Activities Department helped them cheer on their favorite teams. While some team members ran faster than expected others dropped their flap jack stacks and had to start all over! After some good-hearted, healthy competition, Team Maintenance pulled out all the stops to finish first in this year's event. Not bad for a team that has never competed before!
