National Nurses' Week
County Councilmen Fiore Leone and Phil Fatica joined us on Wednesday May 8th 2013 for a luncheon during which our nurses enjoyed their special day. Mr. Fatica and PRM Executive Director, Robert V. Smith are pictured here with Mary Venezia and Cathy Schwab, our Director & Assistant Director of Nursing along with several of our esteemed nurses. Mr. Fatica presented a proclamation to our nursing staff on behalf of the County Executive stating, "I, Barry Grossman, County Executive of the County of Erie do hereby encourage all Erie County citizens to honor the elderly and disabled residents of nursing homes by visiting or volunteering at Pleasant Ridge Manor or any local nursing home to bring good cheer to the residents and appreciation to the staff who care for our most vulnerable citizens on our behalf."
