Oh How Our Garden Grows!

Both Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts have many opportunities to earn a variety of patches during their membership. These patches are earned by completing a set of requirements for each. Pleasant Ridge Manor is proud to offer our own patch as part of this wonderful life-long learning requirement. Cub Scout Pack #53 earned their patches on May 21st this year when they planted seeds in our garden. We are so thrilled to have harvested the first bounty this morning! In our garden are carrots, beans, peppers, a few different varieties of tomatoes, basil and leaf lettuce! Now that the veggies are beginning to ripen, our resident cooks and our Dietary Department are now planning a few special snacks! We'll keep you posted!
