We've been everywhere this week and it's only Wednesday! Monday, we went to the Cakery here in Fairview, Tuesday, we were at Bob Evans, this morning LeeAnn was at Villa Academy for their Volunteer Service Fair and then we had a gourp heading out to Perkins and tomorrow, we're heading to WestLake Fire Department for their monthly bingo luncheon! By the time Friday gets here, we'll be ready for the weekend!
This week, we had a pumpkin carving contest, and the results will be available soon, but we also had a parade for anyone who wanted to dress up the day before Halloween...and another parade is scheduled to take place during our Halloween Party tomorrow, October 31st at 2:30 in our main dining room. So it's your chance to dress up again and come show us what you've got!

Did you know that our Volunteers, the Pleasant Ridge Manor Friends Forever, offer scout patches?! The patch looks exactly like our original logo (it's pink right now for breast cancer awareness month) and is available when your scout completes the minimum requirements in our program! We've given away over 100 so far! Call LeeAnn for details: 474-5521, extension 260.
We've got a busy week coming up folks! Monday, True Country comes back for another fantastic performance at 2:30, Tuesday, we'll be carving & decorating pumpkins with Southern Care Hospice, Wednesday, we'll be at the Springfield VFW for a Veteran's luncheon, a couple more outings that week and then Halloween! Th Jam Starrs entertained our residents last night during our Annual Fall Dance. It was a foot-stomping, everybody up dancing kind of night!
Last week during our Cocktails & Colors event, the artist, Linda, donated her painting to our residents and asked that we give it to a lucky bingo player. Congratulations to our Jeffrey who was overjoyed to be given such a beautiful work of art! Thanks Linda!
